Our story
How StoryAfter Began
StoryAfter began after I read a moving BBC story about a woman who created a hologram of her late husband for his wake.
I was not interested in recreating that exact idea, and StoryAfter is not about creating holograms or replacing anyone. But the story stayed with me because it showed how powerful a familiar face, a voice, and a personal memory can be.
That became the starting point for StoryAfter.
I wanted to create something simpler, gentler, and more accessible: a way to turn a favourite photo and voice recording into a short, professionally produced video that helps tell someone's story.
For some families, that might be used as part of a celebration of life. For others, it might be a birthday message, an anniversary tribute, a retirement surprise, or a way to preserve family history for future generations.
The service can be used for birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations of life, family stories, or special messages. At its heart, StoryAfter is about celebrating people, preserving memories, and creating something personal that can be kept, shared, and remembered.
